My dad made this afghan back in the late 1970's for my aunt and I recently acquired it :) He enjoyed crocheting, even taught himself to crochet left handed so I could learn. He made several other beautiful afghans--miss him. Thanks for letting me share!

I am very excited about this book and even more excited that I could download it from home. I am 28 miles from the nearest craft store so it was great for me to be able to have the book at my finger tips almost as soon as I found it online. The instructions are easy for a beginner to follow.

I have made this afghan on three different occasions for bridal showers. All three have said they will treasure it and pass it along as an heirloom. Once you know the brides colors you can add a neutral and make a custom afghan that they will absolutely love. I've also made it for myself, my daughter and used some of the squares for babies (using fingering yarn). I needed a new book because I used it so often that the pages started coming out. It's one of my all time favorites.
