If you liked the original Scrapbook Tips & Techniques, you’ll really love Book 2. Once again from the expert editors at Creating Keepsakes magazine, this book is filled with budget-saving creativity, nifty tips and tricks, computer coolness, great tools and techniques, plus inspirations for a year’s worth of scrapping. (I’m really captivated by Project 365 which includes 365 ideas for photos—1 a day for a year, along with sample layouts!) And if you’d like to sample some of the designs from this book, check out our free project from this book: 4 Fun Scrapbook Techniques!
My real paper craft love is stamping, so I’m particularly entranced by The Best of Stamp It! Cards from the editors at Paper Crafts magazine. This book features cards for everything—all occasion, anniversary, baby, birthday, congratulations, Easter, encouragement, Father’s Day, friendship, get well, graduation, Halloween, hello, love, miss you, Mother’s Day, Season’s Greetings, sympathy, Thanksgiving, thank you, and wedding. (And while I don’t want to make “greeting” cards right now, I’m thinking I might borrow some of these stampy techniques to use on my ATC cards…)
Treat yourself to these books as a special way of celebrating National Scrapbook Day. (And please tell me I’m not the only one who gets so involved with looking at the pretty pictures in inspirational books that very little actual scrapping gets accomplished!)
