I know I've talked about it before, but I'll say it again: I like to keep my ears warm and my messy hair covered. An ear warmer seemed like a great way to keep myself warm, my messiness camouflaged, and the hair away from my eyes. So I made one!
I thought it would be fun to try out the Ribbed Ear Warmer from Boot Cuffs & Ear Warmers because I was curious about crochet ribbing. I liked it! I got to work plenty of front post and back post half double crochet stitches. It was, sadly, enough for me to figure out that I don't enjoy half double crochet stitches very much at all. But I have to say that stitch looks really thick and gives a lot of height to the ribbing.
Oh, and this is very warm in addition to being very cute. Hooray! Welcome to the weekend cold-weather accessory family, little ear warmer!
I went with an ear warmer pattern from Boot Cuffs & Ear Warmers because I'm pretty confused by boot cuffs, but I want to try them out. And now this ear warmer success has emboldened me! I'm going to make them next! I have yarn picked out, and a pattern in mind: Vanna's Choice yarn in 'Linen' and the Ruffled Set from Boot Cuffs & Ear Warmers.
I'm loving these fall accessories, and can't wait to try out more!
