I'm starting to seriously think about my crafting goals for 2014, and I'm realizing that I want to try out more decorating in the new year. Especially wreaths. I've made a few wreaths in the past, but they're mostly slapdash affairs. I mean that literally--I slap things onto a wreath form, tie or glue them into place, and call it a day.
And Crafting with Florals, which I've had my eye on for a while now but have been a little afraid to try.

I know it's silly to be afraid of trying out different crafts because it's not like they're going to hurt me, but I get nervous sometimes! I'm easily rattled. I'm really interested in all these mesh wreaths I keep seeing, but I just feel really uncertain about them. How do you make wire mesh ribbon poofy?! I don't get it!
There's a tutorial for that. Thank goodness! I feel a little better prepared to try out new crafting things now. Plus, I just enjoy these tutorial videos. They relax me. I hope this has the same effect on you--or that you got something from the tutorial.
Happy crafting! I think 2014 is going to be a great year for trying new things.
