  • Color Match: Chartreuse! Exploring Etsy's 2020 Color of the Year

Hey, makers! It's been a colorful new year so far, and we're just getting started. You may have seen our last color study on classic blue, comparing some of our favorite patterns and projects to Pantone's 2020 Color of the Year. We know you guys love color trends, so we're happy to continue the series! We're going to be looking at the colors of the year from different brands, and match some of our favorite projects with the hue! This time, we're taking a look at Etsy's 2020 color of the year, Chartreuse. Here's what Etsy thinks of this unique hue:

    Etsy's collage of chartreuse - Etsy.com

"A stark contrast from last year’s pick of burnt orange, chartreuse is a bold color known for increasing energy, encouraging unconventional thinking, and evoking feelings of growth and harmony (and a nod to all of ‘80s the neons making a comeback right now)."

This color certainly is bold and beautiful. We have some bright and poppy projects for you guys to work on if you want to join the swell of makers and modern fashion icons alike in incorporating this color into their 2020 fashion and home décor. So, scroll to find your favorite craft category, and find your favorite Chartreuse project!
