I liked the variety but found I already have some of the patterns in other books.

The cable patterns I have been through in this book are very clear and easy to follow, and yield beautiful results. The only disadvantage I have found is that the patterns are written to be specific to the blocks of a blanket, and consequently do not tell you the number of stitches per cable repeat. With a little work it is easy to figure out, but would have been helpful to have in patterns.
