This book begins with a thoughtful examination of the history of crochet, has a great teaching stitch dictionary with both left and right handed, clear illustrations. Projects are chosen for use and practice of certain stitches and techniques. There is a discussion of color and even a large stitch gallery. Using this book feels like the author is sitting next to you with answers and information.

I had wanted to get this book for quite some time and had a chance to review it when at a relative's house and decided to get it... It is an amazing book and will come in very handy for anyone who is into crocheting, whether a beginner or an advanced crocheter...

I work in a library and have this book in my collection. I've used it numerous times. It gives me great ideas to modify patterns to make them more unique. I figured it was time for me to buy my own copy. It is well-worth the money!
