Product Description
This knit shawl will feel like a warm hug to the wearer. The pattern alternates between lace and thick cables by knitting from the lower edge to the neck; it is held on the wearer by a button. The owner of the Lace and Cable shawl is sure to be warm while able to keep their hands free! This shawl uses three skeins of worsted weight yarn (approximately 1 skein equals 218 yards [200 meters]). It also uses a size 10 [6 mm] 24" circular knitting needle, a cable needle, and a 1" button. The finished knit Lace and Cable shawl is 19" long x 22" wide at the neck, and 50" wide at the bottom; approximately 16 stitches = 4" [10 cm] of stockinette stitch. This shawl is rated at an "intermediate" skill Level. This project is from the original publication 5628 :Shawls, Wraps, and Ponchos.
