This knit Loopy Blanket poncho is the ultimate comfort wrap. The loose panels are simply tied at the sides. Garter stitch makes it a breeze to knit, and the loopy fringe is created at the beginning of each right side row. The pattern by Kathy Norris is written for three sizes: X-Small/Small (Misses 4-8), Medium/Large (10-16), and X-Large (18-20). Skill level is Easy. Supplies needed are 7 (8-10) skeins of bulky weight yarn (approximately 86 yards [78 meters] per skein), a 31' (78.5 cm) circular size 15 (10 mm) knitting needle, and a yarn needle. This design was originally published in Leisure Arts Leaflet #6793 Knit Poncho Rebound.
