“Crocheting is my passion. If I’m holding still, I’m usually crocheting... church, visiting friends, when in line at the grocery store, and when out on the boat with my husband who is a hunting guide out of Sitka, Alaska. Although crocheting is my passion, I prefer the way knitting looks, so I’m always trying to find new ways to crochet something so it looks like it is knitted. When the local yarn shop in my area displayed a gorgeous pair of knitted fair isle mittens I just HAD to figure out a way to crochet a pair for myself. This book is the result of that quest. It includes 11 charted designs with step-by-step instructions. And, with just one chart you can make any size ranging from small to x-large just by changing what size of yarn or hook you use. The Fair Isle crochet technique is fun and not as challenging as it looks. And, it’s so rewarding to watch these pretty designs develop as you crochet that you’ll want use this book to make mittens for all of your friends and family!” – Lori Adams
