Of all the baby afghan books I own (and I own quite a few to say the least) this is one of my favorites. It has such a variety and beautiful afghans. I also like it because most of the afghans are a bit on the bigger side and I just figure if I am going to spend the time in making a blanket it should be big enough for the child to use more than one season.

Awesome book, but I'm a little confused with the instructions as to how to start the second ruffle. Can anyone give a more detailed instruction or close up picture of the finished product so I can figure this out? My question is concerning the stich to start this on which seems to be before the corner but it says to sc in the second chain. A close up of that would be great! Thank you.

Having trouble with Petal Stripes p 104. It seems that Rows 2-4 should be repeated several times before starting petals. Am I right?
