can you let me know thanks so much
I have had this pattern for many years and I did make it into a double bed size which I still have, a friend is having a new baby and I want to recreate this as it is so well loved but I was wondering if anyone has some great color ideas for a boy

Fantastic patterns and timeless.
I first bought this booklet 31 years ago to make when I was pregnant with my second child, a daughter. I've made many of the items in this booklet several times. My book is worn and ragged and falling apart but I love it. Now my daughter has a daughter and this layette was handed down to her. And she is wearing items I've made from this book. I love Leisure Arts!

Wonderful products over the years
I brought this pattern to make for a nephew's son and I still have my leaflet 191 It still has KMart sticker price $2.77 and the Leaflet price of $3.25. I really enjoy all the many years I have been buying Leisure Arts. I love to crochet and thank you Janie Wright for taking the time to help me get my password up and running. Thank you Leisure Arts for who you are.

Long time comin!
I started this very pattern in 1985 when I was pregnant with my son. Unfortunately, I went into labor one bootie away from done. It sat bagged carefully in my closet for the last 28 years! I just pulled it out today! Hopefully whenever I have a grand baby it will be ready for them! Absolutely beautiful pattern.

Beautiful Baby Blanket
I have made this blanket a multitude of times but lost the original printed booklet. So glad to find it available in digital form. Currently making a blanket for my first great grandson in camo colors since his daddy is an archery hunter.

So many patterns, not enough time
I am not able to review this pattern since I have not had time or need to make it yet. It looks beautiful and since it has run the course for so many years I felt it was a good pattern to have in my binder for the future.

A Joy to make,
This is the first time I have made this pattern, I would like to make it larger the next time that I make it... Perhaps for a double or queen size bed, would look amazing!

Perfect Pattern
I do a lot of baby blanket sets for friends and hospitals, this is an amazing set that changes looks with every color combination. I love making it and the new parents who receive it just LOVE it.

A Change in Pace!!!!
I have always crocheted since I was about 7 or 8 years old - during these past 12 years, I have made more and more baby blankets (trying different patterns - experimenting). This was a change in pace as I made the little sweater/bootie set.

It was not like I thought
Nice pattern well written. Wish that there had been more information about it before I purchased it. Was not like I thought it was to be. Not real happy with my purchase. Nothing wrong with the pattern, just not what was expected.

Rainbow Crochet Pattern, Afghan, Jacket and Bootie Set ePattern
I love the blanket BUT even though you download it, you can't copy or paste it, print it, only have the PC open at all times to read the instructions. Most inconvenient!! I bought 3 patterns same day and I will NEVER buy another one! I even wrote the company and NEVER heard back from them.

Love this pattern!
I love grannies and cannot wait to try this pattern. I plan on making it larger than the original pattern.

further to my post of Nov 7, 2012
I made this 30 years ago for my youngest daughter and looked all over for this pattern for my grandchildren. I even wrote to Leisure Arts asking about it.

I bought the pattern online here and have now made it 3 more times. I love it.

Rainbow Heaven
I made this Rainbow set many years a go for a friend, then I liked it so much I enlarged the blanket to a double bed size and to this day it is still on my bed, and no wear , this is over 30 years ago and I am about to make another for a friends baby but would like to use some different colors and that is where I am stuck, Love this pattern.

Golden oldie
Made the blanket years ago (about 40). Now have a yarn store and was asked about the pattern. Ordered it and shared the pattern and am getting yarn orders for the set.

Great Pattern
I have made this a few times and loved it so much I increased the design to double bed size and it is about 30 years old now and still like new, I want to do another baby one but I am stumped on a color combo that is for either girl or boy any suggestions?

Anxious Anticipation
I love the pattern - however have not had the opportunity to make it as yet. My plan is to complete this set while I am recuperating from a total knee surgery this coming Aug 5. I do not have anyone specific I am crocheting it for, but think perhaps it will be done for our mission group at our church.

Rainbow Baby Blanket and Layette
I first bought this pattern in the 80's and have crocheted it for each of grand children and now my great grand children. Once you catch on to the pattern, it goes quickly and looks so difficult! It is beautiful. It won first prize at the state fair back in 1986! You'll be proud to create this heirloom. (I don't have to search for the book now! It's on my desktop!)

I found it!
I had this pattern 24 years ago when I had my first child! I lost it over the years, but found it here just in time to make it for my first grandchild! It is colorful, and very easy to do!

Granny Baby Blanket with a Twist
This is an old pattern, but I think it is still a pattern that can be very versatile for any baby color scheme. The entire ensemble would make a great gift. This pattern particularly appealed to me because I think it's the basic granny design with a twist. I've been crocheting for many years, but I still need a pattern that is written in easy to follow terms. This one is perfect.

Just Beautiful
I was looking for a pattern to use with a roving yarn, to make into a full-sized afghan for my husband. I had seen this made up, famously in black and purple, and felt the pattern had enough contrast of variety and simplicity to make into a nice, manly blanket. The pattern was a joy to work with, and while I didn't do the yarn changes to create the rainbow as per the pattern, I did add an extra set of rounds to the pattern, as well as some extra panels to the length. The pattern was a joy to work with, and not only am I delighted with the outcome, so is my very fussy husband. :D

Love this pattern
I had this pattern a long time ago. I made many of these. I somehow lost the book. Have been looking for the pattern to make more. My niece suggested to look on line. So glad I found it again. Everyone I have made this for just loves it. Thank You.

My favorite afghan
I bought this book when it first came out. I have made this afghan so many times. I never get tired of making it or hearing the people talk about it when I give it to them. You can never go wrong with a Leisure Arts pattern. Especially this one.

I have not tried any patterns yet but from what I see they are beautiful. The instructions are easy and look forward to making them. I have used LA patterns for many many years.

Glad it's back
This pattern is a real classic, I am so happy that it was not lost and gone forever, I used to have way back when, it went missing, I think I loaned it out. When I saw it, I purchased it right away with your ebooks, which is a great way to get the patterns I really love. I cannot wait to get my yarn out and get started on this beauty, once again. Thanks for bringing it back.

Purchased this Pattern
I fell in love with this pattern when I first saw it! There are so many different color combinations that can be done for either a girl or a boy! I have made 2 set already and everyone comments on how beautiful it is.I'm now working on my third set for my next grand-son, loving the pattern with blues & greens! It is so easy to follow the directions, anyone wanting to make it will love it as much as I do!

Had the original
I purchased the original book when it came out a very long time ago. Through my many moves and such, it got misplaced. I've been searching for a replacement and was in SHOCK that I found one! THANK YOU LEISURE ARTS!!!!!

Best Blanket Ever!
I've been making this blanket and set for over 25 years. To this day, my friends can remember this blanket and often it's been kept as a keepsake. Seems like I even repaired one some time ago. I've received many photos with the babies and children (later) that have the blanket in this set. I can't go to a baby shower any more without one of these as a gift! It's like having your favorite dish to pass. :)

Lost treasure
I inherited this pattern from one of the books I got from my sister when she died. I unfortunately loaned it to a friend who lost while moving. Cant tell you what a thrill is was to find again, especially since my granddaughter is now expecting my first greatgrandchild. Only Wish I could get the whole book.

I first made this blanket 35 years ago. The woman I made it for was expecting her first baby and loved it. I am so glad you put it back. I lost mine when I moved years ago. I have been looking for it. Thank you.

Rainbow Granny Square Cover Pattern
I made one of these in the mid-80s. I have had requests for THIS afghan ever since. Mostly for Brights.. did one in Red and White only for an xmas baby. Friends ask for the pattern, but until I saw this I had thought I was out of print. Going to my LYS to let them know it IS available WOW.. it is fun, easy and addictive with minimal finish construction.

Family Heirloom
I bought this pattern when I was pregnant with my son in 1987 because I loved the size and the pattern. It is in many photo's of him as a newborn and infant including the cherished generation pictures with those no longer with us. I loaned the blanket to my sister who used it with both her children. She gave it to my brother when his son was born. My brother returned it to me after his son outgrew it and I put it away in my cedar chest.
Little did I know when I was happily crocheting a blanket for my expected son in 1987 it would still be around for his son and my first grandson to be born in November 2013.
Even though I still have this pattern and have made this blanket and given it as a gift many, many times I love the idea of using what has become a family heirloom.

replacing an old fav
was great to get the digital version of this favourite. I've made many baby gifts of this blanket. I made the whole set for my oldest son now 27, to come home from the hospital. The blanket is quick to crochet and looks nice in other colours as well.

Love this blanket!
So glad to see this pattern! My uncle’s mother crocheted this blanket for my firstborn, nearly 14 years ago. It was the last thing she ever made and our favorite blanket. I’ve been crocheting for nearly 20 years and have been wanting to make it for friends, and for her great-grandchildren who were born in the last year or two (I’m too selfish to pass on the actual blanket). Just bought it. YAY!! Can't wait for my yarn to arrive.

Interesting Afghan, Jacket, & Booties
I really love the pattern for the afghan. I have not yet made the jacket and booties as I currently do not know of anyone having a baby. But it will be my first choice when I do. I recommend this to all my friends and family.
