I have always liked the basket weave pattern. This baby blanket looks like it will be very pretty and soft. Once started in the pattern, it is very easy to maintain without having to look at the instructions for every row.

This is a very simple blanket with a nice bit of texture in it. I do keep a counter to keep track of the series of "pattern row" repeats. Great take along project!
