I have a rule about buying pattern books. I never buy one unless I truly want to do at least half of the projects in the book. Needless to say, I don't buy books too often. Having read through the patterns, I believe they are well written and am not expecting any problems with any of them. I'm giving 4 stars based on reading the patterns. I haven't actually completed one yet as I am finishing a large afghan I had already started before ordering the book. I have over 35 years of crocheting experience though, so I recognize a well written pattern when I see one.

If you want to crochet the most adorable, fun, easy to understand blankets for a baby, THIS is the book for you! My personal favorite is "Bears on My Blanket" which I am starting this Thursday! ALL the blankets are just SOOOOOOO sweet and lovely. It was hard for me to pick just one for my first project out of this wonderful book!
