Debi Schmitz

Debi Schmitz-Noriega has been a professional designer for over 35 years and a lifelong creator. With hundreds of tear sheets and magazine designs, she has also appeared on television and has authored numerous craft books.  
Debi earned her stripes in the craft industry and is known as one of the “seasoned professionals.” Many of her designs have been featured in online magazines, websites, advertising, and at multiple trade shows across the country. She fervently follows worldwide trends to introduce new products for the craft, home décor, fashion, and quilt industries. Debi has experience at the retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and importing levels. Her accomplishments include designing product catalogs, patterns for marketing, product packaging, and kits for many manufacturers.  
Debi has an engaging personality that exudes her enthusiasm about product. She loves teaching and demonstrating her talents. Debi has 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Her passion for product and design is only surpassed by her faith, love of family, friends, pets, and her home state of Iowa.
