Karen Kavett

Karen Kavett is a full-time crafter and video creator for her own YouTube channel and for HGTV Handmade. She has been crafting from a very young age and would even make her own purses out of duct tape to carry every day in high school. She studied graphic design at the Rhode Island School of Design.
 Karen got her start on YouTube in 2008 making graphic design videos but has since discovered a passion for making DIY tutorials. Melt and Make Bead Crafts is her first book with Leisure Arts, and she is very grateful for the opportunity to share these ideas with such a wide audience.
