Details
Keep kids warm and smiling with these four cute knit vests for boys and girls by designer Barbara Boulton. Each Quick Knit Animal Vest pattern is sleeveless; its straight-neck top features one of four animal designs on the front and back yokes: teddy bear, bunny, kitten, and owl. The vests are knitted using worsted weight yarn and two sizes of straight knitting needles (6 and 10 for vest sizes 2 and 4; 7 and 11 for vest sizes 6 and 8). I haven't made this yet, but am impressed with the pattern. It has several versions and a wide range of children's sizes. Looks simple to use. Am tempted by their yarn also.

I was really glad to discover these patterns which are no longer in print were available as a digital download. Patterns are well written, easy to make and follow and knit up quite quickly. Make wonderful gifts for the grand kids.
